Mockba was appointed to deliver a two-phase modular development for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, designed to enhance both academy and senior team facilities at their training ground.
Phase 1 focused on creating a modern, purpose-built changing room facility for the academy, incorporating a waiting area, meeting room, storage space, academy and officials’ shower areas, and a reception/security office.
The facility has now been completed, including decking around the perimeter to create a cohesive external space. The reception and security office is awaiting final planning approval, with installation scheduled for later this year.
Following the successful delivery and high-quality finish of the first phase, Sheffield Wednesday has entered into discussions with Mockba to progress with Phase 2 — a new two-storey gymnasium for the senior team. This structure will feature a combination of cold and hot rolled steel and will integrate seamlessly with the existing modular building on-site, giving the entire complex the appearance of a single, continuous development.
