What we collect and why

Enquiries by email

This website has no enquiry form, user accounts or newsletter sign-up. Enquiries are sent from your own email account to info@mockbamodular.com. When you email us, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, organisation, email address and information about your project, site and programme. We use this to respond to your enquiry, to prepare proposals and to manage any resulting project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Configurator

The MOCKBA Configurator saves the concepts you create in your own browser, using local storage on your device. This includes the project name, any location you enter and the layout. Concepts are not sent to MOCKBA or held on our servers, and we cannot see them. They remain on your device until you delete them from the saved concepts page or clear this site’s data in your browser. PDF and image exports are generated in your browser and downloaded to your device.

Nothing from the configurator reaches us unless you choose to email it. “Email this concept to MOCKBA” opens your own email app with a summary of the concept (project name, reference, building type, location, size and bay count), which you can edit before sending, together with any file you attach. Anything you send is then handled as an enquiry, as described above.

Website operation

Our hosting provider records technical information needed to deliver the site securely, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website.

Analytics

This website does not currently use analytics tools, and no analytics or marketing cookies are set. If that changes, this policy and our cookie policy will be updated and you will be asked for consent first.

Sharing your data

We use service providers to operate this website and our business email, including our website hosting provider and our email provider. They process data on our instructions. We may share project information with consultants, subcontractors or suppliers involved in delivering your project, and with professional advisers where necessary. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK adequacy regulations are relied on.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a project proceeds, for the duration of the project and the period afterwards required for contractual, warranty, accounting and legal purposes. Configurator concepts are held only in your browser and stay under your control.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw it.
